What I Have Learnt

In this assignment, many things I have learnt. First, I learnt of the importance of having friends from different fields of study. Because this course involved the mixing of students from all the programmes of this faculty (FCSHD), my teammates came from many different programme and have different educational background. Some had experience in business study in their previous study. Thus, it helped this assignment significantly.

Next, I learnt of the importance of planning. Without planning, the business would not run. Simply, the business would go haywire and things will not be as smooth as shown in the result.

In addition, I discovered many new elements of business and that business is wide subject touching on many areas. Business involves more than just marketing, attracting customers, and taking the customers' orders. But rather business involves a lot in generating ideas, testing ideas, receiving feedbacks and improving the product or marketing strategies.

I have read some books on managing finance but this assignment has given me the opportunity of seeing the things I have read in operation. How we manage our budget and how we calculate our expenses and our debits. The sales proved to be positive and thus further motivates me to learn and earn.

Relating to my field of study, psychology, this assignment has taught me of the importance of how we promote our products and the effects of feedbacks in encouraging more sales. How people's minds are influenced, related to their culture and expectation, if studied properly can make us gain their trust and thus generating more income.

To summarise, the assignment was an eye opener to me, creating pathways to many fields and opportunity in life.
